Niva Bupa Aspire Titanium+ vs ReAssure 3.0: Which Suits a Salaried Buyer? (2026)
Niva Bupa Aspire Titanium+ vs ReAssure 3.0 Black for a salaried buyer, compared on maternity, Booster+, entry age and cover sizes, and which plan suits whom.

Aspire Titanium+ or ReAssure 3.0: which should a salaried buyer choose?
For a salaried buyer aged 35 or under who may start a family, Niva Bupa Aspire Titanium+ is the better fit; ReAssure 3.0 Black suits one buying later, buying for parents over 65 or wanting an Unlimited sum insured. Both have no room rent cap, no disease sub-limits, no base co-payment and the same ReAssure Forever refills. Aspire adds maternity after 9 months and a yearly health check-up.
Both plans come from Niva Bupa, so the claim record does not separate them: Niva Bupa settles 93.3% of claims and draws 35.4 complaints per 10,000 claims (IRDAI data, a weighted average of the last three financial years, latest available as of March 2026).
If you are salaried, you may already have group cover through work. The plan you buy yourself is the one that stays with you when you change jobs, so what decides it is your age when you buy, whether a child is likely in the next few years and whether your parents need cover. Read why employer cover is not enough on its own.
Premiums depend on your age, city and cover, so this page compares what each plan pays for rather than a price. A quote for both plans on the same cover, ₹5 lakh or ₹10 lakh, the two amounts both plans offer, is the fair comparison.
How do Aspire Titanium+ and ReAssure 3.0 Black compare, feature by feature?
Aspire Titanium+ and ReAssure 3.0 Black match on room rent, disease sub-limits, co-payment, restoration and the main waiting periods. They differ on maternity, the health check-up, who can join and at what age, how far Booster+ can grow and which cover sizes you can buy. This page compares Black because it is the only ReAssure 3.0 variant with no room cap.

Which plan suits a salaried buyer?
Your age when you buy decides most of this choice. Aspire Titanium+ rewards buying at 35 or younger, with a 10-times Booster+ ceiling and maternity after 9 months. Join Aspire at 36 to 45 and Booster+ stops at 5 times the base, or 3 times from 46, while ReAssure 3.0 Black's ceiling is 1000% and it takes adults up to 99.
| If you are | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 35 or younger and may have a child in the next few years | Aspire Titanium+ | Maternity after 9 months, a 10-times Booster+ ceiling at this entry age and entry-age pricing that survives a maternity claim |
| Single now and may marry later | Aspire Titanium+ | The Future Ready add-on guarantees cover will be issued for a spouse you marry later, who inherits the waiting periods you have served |
| 36 or older when you buy | ReAssure 3.0 Black | A 1000% Booster+ ceiling, against 5 times the base on Aspire at 36 to 45 and 3 times from 46 |
| Buying cover for parents over 65 | ReAssure 3.0 Black | It takes adults up to 99; Aspire takes no one over 65 |
| Worried about any ceiling on cover | ReAssure 3.0 Black | It comes with an Unlimited sum insured option, though ReAssure Forever does not apply on it |
| After a size such as ₹25 lakh or ₹50 lakh | Aspire Titanium+ | Nine cover sizes from ₹3 lakh to ₹1 crore; ReAssure 3.0 Black comes at ₹5 lakh, ₹10 lakh or Unlimited |

Where is Aspire Titanium+ the better choice?
Aspire Titanium+ suits a buyer who is young, may start a family and wants the extras that matter at that stage included. It is the only one of the two with maternity cover, and it builds in a yearly health check-up that ReAssure 3.0 Black sells as a paid option.
- Maternity after 9 months. M-iracle pays towards delivery, antenatal care, IVF, surrogacy and adoption from an annual pot: ₹4,000 at ₹3 lakh cover, ₹12,000 at ₹10 lakh and ₹25,000 at ₹50 lakh and above, with unused amounts carried forward. ReAssure 3.0 permanently excludes childbirth, IVF, surrogacy and infertility treatment. Our guide to maternity cover sets limits like these against what a delivery costs.
- A newborn covered from day one when added under M-iracle; children can join from birth.
- Entry-age pricing that survives a maternity claim. Lock the Clock+ keeps your premium priced at your entry age until a claim is paid, and a maternity claim does not break it. Any other paid claim unlocks it, as any paid claim does on ReAssure 3.0 Black.
- A health check-up included, worth ₹500 for every ₹1 lakh of base cover, so the ₹5,000-a-person cap is reached at ₹10 lakh; up to ₹10,000 a floater, cashless only. See which plans pay for a health check-up.
- Cover for a future spouse. The Future Ready add-on guarantees cover will be issued for a spouse you marry later, and they inherit the waiting periods you have already served rather than starting from zero.
- More cover sizes: nine, from ₹3 lakh to ₹1 crore, against three on ReAssure 3.0 Black.
- Air ambulance up to the base sum insured. Above ₹5 lakh of base cover, that allows more than ReAssure 3.0 Black's ₹5 lakh cap per hospitalisation.
Where does ReAssure 3.0 Black pull ahead?
ReAssure 3.0 Black suits a buyer who is buying after 35, wants cover for parents over 65, or wants no ceiling on the sum insured. Its Booster+ ceiling is 1000%, where Aspire's falls to 5 or 3 times the base for later entrants, and it takes adults up to 99.
- A higher Booster+ ceiling for later entrants. On ₹10 lakh of base cover, ReAssure 3.0 Black can build up to ₹1 crore of Booster+. Join Aspire at 36 to 45 and its Booster+ stops at ₹50 lakh, reached after five claim-free years; join at 46 or older and it stops at ₹30 lakh. Our guide explains how no-claim bonuses work.
- Adults up to 99 at entry. Aspire cannot be bought after 65, so it is not a plan you can move an older parent into later.
- An Unlimited sum insured option, for buyers whose worry is the ceiling itself. ReAssure Forever does not apply on it.
What should you check before buying either plan?
On both plans, ReAssure Forever stays dormant until your first paid claim, so the cover for that claim is the base sum insured plus any Booster+ you have built. Consumables are a paid option on both. The other catches differ, and several sit in options a quote can switch on to cut the premium.
Aspire Titanium+
- The maternity pot is small: ₹4,000 a year at ₹3 lakh cover and ₹12,000 at ₹10 lakh, so a delivery in the second policy year will not be covered in full.
- The 10-times Booster+ ceiling applies only if you join at 18 to 35.
- You cannot buy it after 65.
- The pre-existing wait can be cut to 24 or 12 months only when you first buy, never at a renewal.
- Room Type Modification, a voluntary co-pay and an annual aggregate deductible each cut the premium by cutting cover. Room Type Modification puts back the room restriction the base plan does not have, so read about room rent limits before taking it.
- Consumables need Safeguard, which pays non-payable items from List I only, or Safeguard+, which pays all four lists. Here is why consumables end up on your bill.
ReAssure 3.0 Black
- Confirm the variant on your quote. Black is the only ReAssure 3.0 variant with no room cap; on Classic, any room above a general ward triggers a 20% to 50% co-payment on the entire claim, and Select and Elite also charge a room co-payment.
- There is no maternity cover and no maternity option.
- The insurer can attach a personal waiting period of up to 48 months to conditions it names on your schedule, a year longer than the standard pre-existing wait.
- The Specific Disease option can lengthen the 24-month wait to 36 months, and HeadsUp and Tiered Network each add a 20% co-payment outside a named list.
- The annual health check-up is a paid option.
- On a floater, a paid claim for any member unlocks Lock the Clock for the whole policy.
Which plan should you choose?
Choose Aspire Titanium+ if you are 35 or younger, may have a child in the next few years, or want a yearly health check-up included and a cover size such as ₹25 lakh or ₹50 lakh. Its maternity cover and its full Booster+ ceiling both reward buying early.
Choose ReAssure 3.0 Black if you are buying after 35, want cover for parents over 65, or want an Unlimited sum insured.

FAQs
Is Aspire Titanium+ better than ReAssure 3.0?
Yes, for a buyer aged 35 or under who may start a family. Aspire Titanium+ adds maternity after 9 months, a yearly health check-up and a 10-times Booster+ ceiling at that entry age. For a buyer over 35, or one buying for parents over 65, ReAssure 3.0 Black is the better fit.
Does Niva Bupa ReAssure 3.0 cover maternity?
No. ReAssure 3.0 permanently excludes childbirth, IVF, surrogacy and infertility treatment, and has no maternity option. Aspire Titanium+ builds maternity in, with a 9-month wait.
How much maternity cover does Aspire Titanium+ give?
₹4,000 a year at ₹3 lakh cover, ₹12,000 at ₹10 lakh and ₹25,000 at ₹50 lakh and above, after a 9-month wait. Unused amounts carry forward, but a delivery in the second policy year will not be covered in full.
Is the 10-times Booster+ on Aspire Titanium+ guaranteed?
No. The ceiling depends on your age when you first buy: 10 times the base cover if you join at 18 to 35, 5 times at 36 to 45 and 3 times from 46. Booster+ also builds only from base cover you did not use, so a claim cuts that year's addition.
Which plan has the better claim record?
Neither. Both are Niva Bupa plans, and the ratios are published per insurer, not per plan: 93.3% of claims settled and 35.4 complaints per 10,000 claims (IRDAI data, a weighted average of the last three financial years, latest available as of March 2026).
Is Aspire Titanium+ the same as ReAssure 2.0 Titanium+?
No. They are separate Niva Bupa products that share a variant name, and ReAssure 2.0 Titanium+ has no maternity cover while Aspire Titanium+ builds it in. This page compares Aspire with ReAssure 3.0 Black.
