What is a corporate agent?
A corporate agent is a company registered with IRDAI to arrange insurance policies with the insurers it has an arrangement with. A composite registration covers life, general and health insurance. It is what lets nyvo help you buy a policy, not only advise on one.
When you buy through nyvo, the insurer pays us a commission; you pay no fee. How we rate plans and how we are paid is set out in how we pick plans.
How can you verify our licence?
IRDAI publishes details of registered insurance intermediaries on its website. Look for licence number CA1085 or the name nyvo insurance Services LLP at irdai.gov.in. Any genuine insurance intermediary should give you its licence number when you ask.

How do you raise a complaint?
Start with us. If we do not resolve it, the complaint can go to our Principal Officer, then to IRDAI. The full process is in our grievance redressal policy.

- Step 2Escalate to our Principal Officer
If you have no response within 10 days, or the answer does not resolve your complaint, write to our Principal Officer, Harsh Soni, at harsh@nyvo.in.
- Step 3Take it to IRDAI
If the complaint is still not resolved, use IRDAI's Bima Bharosa portal, email complaints@irdai.gov.in, or call the toll-free numbers 155255 or 1800 4254 732.
- Step 4The Insurance Ombudsman
